I am a senior student in the Midwife-To-Be program (www.midwifetobe.com) and am a student at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery, an "Ivy League" midwifery school. This school is both MEAC accredited and also will allow me to become licensed as a midwife in Florida.

I am mother to three amazing children, all of them born with midwives, the first two in the hospital and the last at a free standing birth center in Orlando Florida.
About

Hello! I am Misty Millard and I have been a student/apprentice midwife for 3 years. I have been blessed enough to attend about 100 births thus far during this journey. I have had the privilege of working and learning under amazing midwives including Christina Holmes in Sarasota Florida and Harmony Miller in Sarasota Florida, amongst others. I have worked as a doula for women birthing both in and out of the hospital, and as a primary midwife under supervision in a free standing birth center. I was blessed to participate in a twin birth out of hospital where baby A was double footling breech and baby B was vertex. I feel honored to be present at the birth of a new life, and believe in empowering women during the process. I specialize in helping Survivors during pregnancy and birth, as I am a Survivor myself.
